Man Arrested For Russian Execution Video

Said He Received Video Of Immigrants Being Murdered Anonymously

A man in his twenties from Maikop in Adygei, a province of Russia, has been arrested by Russian authorities after he admitted he posted a video of two non- white immigrants being murdered by Russian national socialists on the internet.

The unidentified man said that he received the video anonymously with instructions to post it on LiveJournal, from whence it was reposted to a number of websites, including several white activism sites in the United States.

The video shows two bound Caucasian men under a National Socialist flag. They say "we were captured by national socialists" and are then executed by an ethnic Russian. One immigrants' head is sawn off and a second is shot to death. Caucasians -- men, generally of Turkish or Arab ethnic origin, from the Caucasus region of Russia -- are considered unwelcome immigrants by Russia's white and mostly Slavic majority.

Police have been investigating the video, which has drawn international criticism from the European press, who have cited it as another example of "extremism" in Russia.

Earlier this month, Russian national socialists killed an anarchist at a make shift protest camp. Many other anti-racist activists have been attacked across the country.
